Aff
With a gun to his head, this cowboy knows his fate.
The steel is cold.
He hears the devil calling.

He cries,
Let the bullet bounce back.

Leather and Stone is a layered, southern gothic track with a rich narrative, set in a world of cowboys, gunfights, and whiskey.

The metallic twang of National resonator guitar and the tentative plucking of a banjo set the scene, battling against each other to mimic the shoot out. Tension builds with layers of acoustic guitar and some pounding snares until the song reaches a wild, howling climax.

Recalling The Hangover Club's April single, Devil's Watching You, Satan himself plays a role in this track too with a festival-ready, singalong chant that won't escape your mind. Listen exclusively now ahead of its release:

Leather and Stone is the third single of the year from the Hangover Club, after the release of Freedom (Live at the Clifton Observatory) back in January. Like the previous tracks, it's been mixed by Stew Jackson and mastered by Pete Maher.
It'll land on September 13th, following a summer of endless live shows across the South West and festival slots at Wychwood and PAKA.

The future burns with possibility for the Hangover Club, with new opportunities greeting them left, right, and centre as they grow in popularity.

The Hangover Club are a band best experienced live -- never has a three-piece been so loud or energetic.
